Soon (on 3rd June) we are going to usher in the Dragon Boat Festival which is one of the four traditional Chinese festivals (The Dragon Boat Festival, the Spring Festival, the Tomb Sweeping Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival are also known as the four traditional festivals in China).

The Dragon Boat Festival originated from the totem sacrifice held by the tribes who worshiped the dragon totem in ancient times. But more of us know this festival issued to commemorate our great patriotic poet Qu Yuan who committed suicide bouldering and jumping on the Miluo River during the Dragon Boat Festival during the Warring States Period.

The two iconic customs of the Dragon Boat Festival are eating Zongzi (Traditional Chinese rice-pudding) and Dragon Boat Racing, which lasted more than 2,000 years in memory of him.

We will have a holiday from May,3rd to June,5th and will back to work on June,6th.
